So it's July now and has been a few months since my last post. Have been very busy getting ready for baby #2 (who is 3 days late as we speak) I have been spending as much time with Sophie as possible so when the baby comes I don't feel bad about giving some attention else where. Sophie is changing everyday, she says a new word and becomes more independent. We go to the beach as much as possible and she is a little water bug. Here are a few shots from the last few months.....next pics will have both my girls!!!

I realize that it has been quite a few months since I have posted anything on our blog but things have been crazy. We are expecting a new baby in 3 months so working full time and taking care of Sophie has not given me much spare time to work on the computer. Here are a few pics of Christmas and the winter and I promis there will be some spring shots and Sophie in her swim class very soon ..........

This weekend we had a huge snow storm...approx 20 inches. Last year Sophie was too small to go out in the snow so we bundled her up and braved the cold so she could see what it was like. She seemed to like it until she did a face plant in a snow bank.....that was the end of that.

Last year we started a tradition when Sophie was only 8 weeks old to go to Little Compton to get out tree....so this year we all piled into the car (Juneau too) and off we went. This year Sophie could run all around the farm, and she loved it.

Once again it has been quite a while since I have had the time to do any posts. Sophie is changing everyday and growing into a very active and interested toddler. She is only walking now, and of course into everything!!! Here are a few shots of Thanksgiving. We had double duty with lunch at my Dad's and dinner at Carl's Uncle Andy's. Sophie loved the turkey and all the fixins!!!!

Halloween!!!!!! Sophie was a turkey this year, last year she was only 12 days old so she did not go out, but this year she went trick or treating with Oliver....who was a dragon. They were so cute in the wagon together. Since Sophie doesn't speak much yet Oliver did all the work and even would pick out the candy and put it in Sophie's bucket. She didn't eat any but had a great time just playing with the wrappers!!!

After the birthday party we continued a yearly tradition a week later and went pumpkin picking with Juneau and Sophie. Juneau loves to run in the field and Sophie rode in the wagon. We picked 3 big pumpkins and so far Juneau has only tried to eat one of them!!!!

Sophie turned one on October 18 and we had a big party for her at our house. She had many family and friends come to celebrate with her.....it was a great time!!! Here are some shots from the day. I have to add one of the 2 cakes....which I made from scratch and took me aprox 7 hours!!!! They came out pretty good though for the first time.....with some advice from my girls in the ED.....
